Artist's Description
This lighthouse, on Mount Desert Island Maine, was one my wife and I visited on a recent trip. unfortunately, the weather was heavy overcast, fog and rain for most of our trip, as a result all of my photographs were dark and dreary! The painting is 11x14 inches and is acrylic paint on 140 lb watercolor paper, which was bonded to a plywood panel. It was finished with several coats of gloss acrylic medium/varnish.
