Artist's Description
It was painted on Duralar transparent film and then overlaid on a photocopied section of a NOAA Nautical chart. The chart was printed on acid free Epson Ultra Presentation Matte paper using archival inks. The location of the lighthouse is shown with a small red & White striped LH on the chart. The acrylic paints used were artist quality and archival.

Although Point Cabrillo was surveyed by the U. S. Lighthouse Service in 1873, construction of the lighthouse was not completed until 1909.
