Artist's Description
This painting is another in a series I call "Kitchen Art". It shows a pot on our cook-top with four artichokes on a steamer. I took a photo just before my wife put the top on the pot. As you might expect, all of these Kitchen Art paintings are on our kitchen walls!
This 9x12" painting was done using acrylic paint watercolor-style on 140 lb watercolor paper that was bonded to an MDF panel using spray adhesive.
Several coats of acrylic gloss medium/varnish were applied to finish the painting.
